Cadence – 2019 – Inter House English Poetry Recitation Competition

The audience was regaled with the Middle School Inter House English Poetry Recitation Competition, Cadence – 2019. The somber transition from one genre to the other transformed everyone into a surreal world of poetry, through the sound of emotion and dramatization. Each poem had its own sense of oneself, whether it was accessibility, idealism or realism, thereby carving a niche in the world of lyrical literature. From Animals and Humour to Romanticism and War, it was an amalgamation of age appropriate themes that enabled the children to surpass their existing capabilities, increasing their confidence level by providing them learning opportunities throughout. Prizes were won but what was truly priceless was the journey up to the event and immense exposure and learning for the participants.
