SFHS welcomes the Sunbeam School, Varuna, Varanasi

July 22, 2019

In continuation with the School’s endeavour to provide rich learning experiences for its students in terms of hands-on activities, adventure camps, cross cultural educational programs both domestic and overseas, SFHS has recently acquired affiliation with the prestigious AFS Intercultural Programs, India.

AFS is an international, voluntary, non-governmental, non-profit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.

As a part of this attempt, the first Domestic Intercultural School Program between the Sunbeam School Varuna, Varanasi and Strawberry Fields High School was undertaken earlier this year, wherein 13 students from Class 12 visited the Sunbeam School at Varanasi for a week long stay. Now, a group of 10 students are visiting SFHS from 22nd – 29th July 2019 wherein they will spend time in the city of Chandigarh and also participate in the annual SFHS MUN 2019 alongwith a host of activities that are being organized by the school.

We extend our heartiest welcome to our Varanasi guests and look ahead to a rich and stimulating cultural experience.
