Christmas Bake Sale Fundraiser by the Cookery Club

With the onset of the Christmas festivities at Strawberry Fields High School, the ‘Ramsey it Up!’ Cookery Club of the High School organised a fundraising event. The bake sale that took place on 22 December 2021, led by Jasmine Lobana and Bisr Jauhar of Grade 11, encompassed an assortment of baked goods to offer including doughnuts, cupcakes, gingerbread cookies, cake pops, popcorn, brownies, and cheese straws. They were also assisted by Dishita Singh, Mehak Mehra, Mehakpreet, Christine Bhathal, Vernika, Kudrat, Tania Shahi and Arshnoor Bhutani also of Grade 11. The fundraiser was successful in raising an encouraging amount, all of which is being donated to the Aruna Asaf Ali Memorial Trust Foundation, which aids in the upliftment of the underprivileged and empowering women.
