Fireside Chat with Vivek Sandhu

A fireside chat was organised on 23 December for the students of Grade 10, 11 and IBDP with Vivek Sandhu a candidate at MIT Sloan. This could not not have been more timely as the students have started the process of their college selections. Vivek has graduated from Georgia Tech University and is currently an MBA candidate at MIT Sloan. He shared valuable inputs from his own journey as an Ib student to MIT. Advising students that college should always be a means to an end and not the end and also how selections should be based on the holistic profile of the college and not only the ranking in the field.

This event was hosted by Mannat Kaur(IBDP Year 1) and Kashika Mahajan(11 ISC). The session ended with his advise on how important it is for students to take every opportunity provided to them, and utilize this time to formulate their plans.

This session would have definitely made the students more cognizant about the importance of having goals in their life.
