World Nature Conservation Day Celebration

The Heritage club celebrated, ‘World Nature Conservation Day’ on the 5th of August 2022. It is celebrated around the globe on the 28th of July. This day acknowledges that a healthy environment is the foundation for a stable and healthy society. It emphasized on the importance of preserving the environment for future generations.

The students of the Heritage Club spread awareness among all, about protecting natural resources and understanding the importance of nature conservation, by showcasing informative presentations on the importance of maintaining integrity of nature’s components – flora, fauna, soil, water & air.

Various competitions were conducted to promote nature conservation, such as, bird feeder making for grade 5, leaf art for grade 6, planter making for grade 7& recycled bag making for grade 8. The students participated in these activities with great zeal and enthusiasm. They felt great pride in presenting their ideas in the form of beautifully made nature conservation pieces.
