The French Fest

The French Department of our school organized the French Festival on 27th July, 2022 to commemorate The French National Day. The festival was open to Middle School students.

The French National Day is the anniversary of the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, a major event of the French Revolution, as well as the Fête de la Fédération that celebrated the unity of the French people in July 1790. An exhibition on culture and civilization of France beautifully illustrated the significance of this day.

Several games and art counters, music and dance were part of the celebration fervour. Students sang beautifully to the strumming of an old French Classic. The students of Class 5 presented French rhymes while students of Classes 6, 7 and 8 partook in exhibiting their talent in musical performances. Class 6 and Class 8 students also put up their amazing skits. To round off the festivities, Class 7 students thrilled everyone with an enthusiastic dance show.
