Intra House French Punjabi Cultural Poster Making Competition

Learning about different cultures offers new perspectives for children. As an extension of the study of French and Punjabi in classes 5 & 6, an intra house poster making competition was organized where children used images to describe in detail the culture of France and Punjab. It was an opportunity for the students to explore both cultures and to celebrate and experience the broad cultural diversity. Children did some research on the food, festivals, traditional dresses and monuments of both cultures and designed some beautiful posters in French and Punjabi. With so many photos capturing the color and spirit of the occasion it was difficult to judge the winners!
