IBDP Business Management Skill Enhancement Session

IBDP Business Management Session, spread over 5 days, was conducted successfully from 3 to 7 December 2019 by Ms. Shailah Rafique, who is an experienced IBDP resource person and IB Examiner. She comes with a vast experience in IBDP and has worked in reputed IB schools such as Dhirubhai Ambhaniand Jamnabai Narsee International School Mumbai as a Business Management Faculty and Head of Department. She has mentored and assisted many students in the subject all over India.

During the specially conducted workshop, DP Year 2 students have been ably guided for the subject specific components and have been provided assistance for three very important components; Internal and external assessments and Extended Essay. The students have also been acquainted with higher skill development through practice of some effective tasks relevant to the subject. They were provided with opportunities to clarify their doubts regarding the topic-content and developing ability to synthesize responses. The prescribed syllabus was revised from the ground level, through various stages, though the main focus was on skill development. Additional guidance and feedback was conferred to the students through practice past papers.

Overall the session was an immense help to enhance students’ performance in the subject through various skills practice.
