Sohraab Singh Talwar Shines at US Kids European Championship

Sohraab Singh Talwar, a rising golfer of Grade 5B has secured an impressive fifth position at the US Kids European Championship held held from May 28 to May 30 in East Lothian, Scotland. The championship saw over 600 participants from 25 countries competing in 17 age groups across four of Scotland’s renowned golf courses, highlighting the growing prowess of young Indian golfers.

A total of 22 young Indian golfers qualified for the event through the US Kids India Local Tours or the 2023 Indian Championships in Gurgaon and Bengaluru. Their participation underscores the increasing support and infrastructure for junior golf in India.

Sohraab’s achievement against top international competition showcases the potential of Indian golfers and serves as inspiration for aspiring players. This success places Indian golf on the global map and promises a bright future for the sport in the country.
