Students of the SFHS were recently treated to a highly engaging and motivated session in teaching respect for all living beings.
This session was organised by Peedu’s People, an NGO group of dedicated people offering kindness and love to the animals in need, all over the world.
During the session, Mr. Inder Sandhu shared his thoughts on myths associated with stray dogs and involvement of students in vaccination and adopting these animals. The talk was followed by a brief session on behavioural pattern of dogs and the same was demonstrated through Pluto, a stray dog adopted by Peedu’s people who was a true example of what love and care can do to a helpless animal.

I would like to, on behalf of all of us at Strawberry Fields, wish you all a very Happy New Year. Let us take this opportunity to do our bit to bring greater cheer to the world around us. Let us be the very change we want to see. Make small efforts, do tiny acts and join hands as we expand the effect of good, wholesome and positive thoughts and actions.
Let 2020 be a year of solidarity and of making less more. The world needs that. Our environment needs that. Our communities need that.
Best wishes to you and your families.
Warm regards,
Atul Khanna
Director
Read MoreThe December chill lost its bite last night. Warmth and cheer, hugs and back slapping, oooo's and wows were exchanged among the young attendees. The group comprising of 170+ from the batches of 2015 onwards, relived their years in their Alma Mater, becoming a class again!
Classrooms were revisited and their educators had short activities run for the eager to engage youngsters. Camaraderie and pure fun was evidenced here.
The caring and committed Alumni, in a gesture of belonging, contributed a significant sum to the School's venture, Helping Hands. Through this venture, which is a voluntary one, students and staff contribute towards augmenting the School's contribution towards providing equal opportunities for the less privileged among us.
Energetic dancing and a delectable dinner brought the curtains down on the enchanted evening.
Meeting up with class mates from high school gave a little piece of the past back to all who attended. And no matter how much things have changed and continue to do so, we always remember the people we shared those golden years with.
Looking forward to seeing everyone and more in 2020.
